On 
Monday 5th September 2011 I was awarded 2nd place in the Watford Writers/Watford Area Arts Forum competition on the theme of the Blue Door. Watford Writers are a brilliant group who meet every Monday night in the Cha Cha Cha Cafe in Cassiobury Park. Their support and encouragement has really helped my writing skills – so much so that I was a winner in a fiction competition!! (http://www.watfordwriters.co.uk)
