For nearly twenty-five years worked as Archivist, and latterly Curator, for the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) in John Adam Street.
Now working as an independent researcher. Clients include Jon Meacham, Managing Editor, Newsweek; Walter Isaacson, Chairman CNN; Ben Weaver, Ben Weaver Associates and Dr Marcia Pointon.
Also offering transcription service for 18th and 19th century manuscripts in English.
Presented talks to a number of societies on aspects of the history of the Society of Arts as well as the Keate family in 18th century London.
